Avhopp bland ishockeyungdomar : En intervjustudie om hur ischokeyföreningar arbetar för att motverka avhopp i ungdomsishockey i Ångermanland

Ångermanland has at the last five years lost 420 hockey players. This is a qualitative study that focus on investigating the main problems of dropouts among young hockey players and how Ice hockey associations in Ångermanland act to find solutions to the problem. The main questions of the study are: How can the dropout problems in Ångermanland be understood or explained in terms of youth operators' perspective and what are the potential strategies that the Ice hockey associations are using to deal with the dropout problem and what approaches to youth hockey is reflected in the youth operators' statements? The study was based on semi-structure interviews with 6 different Ice hockey sports clubs in Ångermanland. The results showed that the leadership programs ought to be more educational, and more oriented toward understanding the children instead of mainly technical learning objectives about how to shoot, dribble, and skate.

Ishockeyns sommarskolor : En studie om föräldrars intresse för sommarhockeyskolor

To take part in a summer hockey camp during the summer vacation is something that is very popular. This study is carried out through parents of ice-hockey active children in the south of Sweden. The main purpose of this study is to investigate for which reasons parents might let their children participate in a summer hockey camp. It is also studied which parts of the contents in a camp that is considered important by the parents and how much they are willing to pay for a week. To answer this, were an inquiry send out to 86 respondents.

Varumärkesutveckling inom Linköpings Hockey Club : Ur ett sponsorperspektiv

The main question in this thesis has been to see how the brand strategy of Linköpings Hockey Club has changed during the years in the Swedish elite league. We will also look at the content of the brand, as well as the association as the city of Linköping. This thesis will also see the sponsorship view of the development of the brand, because of the sponsorship power to help the association to build and strengthen the brand.We have been interviewing important persons at the association Linköpings Hockey Club and also done interviews with a few sponsorship partners to get important information to analyze.As an association it is of outmost importance to disseminate the association?s image in the right way, which Linköpings Hockey Club has according to their sponsorship partners. The association has during the last years been working hard to take care of and strengthen the brand, which can be seen among the sponsorship partners.

This thesis is about pricing of Ice hockey tickets in Swedish Ice hockey. Ice hockey is a large sport in Sweden, with clubs that more and more are acting like companies. These clubs tend to build new arenas that in many ways change basic variables.The thesis is an analytic thesis based on information about the clubs and interviews. The purpose is to study the basic variables for pricing of tickets in Swedish Ice hockey. Furthermore the pricing itself and its connection to the new arenas are studied.The focus of the thesis is on the three clubs HV 71, Färjestads BK and Linköpings HC.

Funktionell och aerob träning för U16 ishockeyspelare

The aim of this study was to examine if it was possible to improve fitness and strength in young Ice hockey players with help of a training programme based on functional training and aerobic training. The training programme was performed on Halmstad Hockey U-16 team where 17 boys participated in the study. We performed the training in a period of sex weeks with three training occasions each week. These consisted of two functional training sessions and one fitness session. In the beginning we emphasized the importance of a correct performance and technique.

Marknadsföringens roll inom ishockeyföreningar : En fallstudie på elitserielaget Södertälje SK

Sports Marketing is a growing part in the world of sports today. Our main purpose of this paper was to analyze which role marketing plays for an Ice hockey organization in the Swedish elite today. For this study we did a case study research on the Swedish team Södertälje Sportklubb, where we interviewed seven people. In addition to the people in the organizations we chose to interview two sport journalists. This research was made from an organizations point of view and all of the interviews were of qualitative character.

Säkerheten vid Luleå Hockeys matcher

I denna rapport tar vi upp ansvarsfrågan kring säkerhetsarbetet vid Luleå Hockeys hemmamatcher i Coop arena. Vi har genom att studera lagtext, intervjua företrädare från polisen, Luleå Hockey och LuleåFans, Luleå Hockeys supporterklubb, försökt skapa oss en bild av dels hur det juridiska ansvaret fördelas och dels hur samarbetet fungerar de olika aktörerna emellan. Enligt ordningslagen har Luleå Hockey ansvaret för säkerheten i Coop arena. Polisen är alltid närvarande vid matcher och har även extra bevakning vid derbymatcher mellan Luleå Hockey och Skellefteå AIK. Denna bevakning behöver dock inte Luleå Hockey betala något för eftersom de är en ideell förening.

In addition to that the aim was to compare whether there were any gender differences regarding traumatic Ice hockey injuries. MethodThe present study was based on data from the Folksam insurance company between 2006 and 2011. The population consisted of Ice hockey players in a club affiliated to the Swedish Ice hockey Federation and that had sustained a traumatic injury related to Ice hockey that resulted in medical care and then was reported to Folksam. The results are presented with descriptive statistics such as mean and standard deviation, median range and frequencies. ResultsThe head was the most common injury localization followed by the upper extremity where the shoulder accounted for a high number of injuries. Fracture was the most common type of injury for both male and female players.

Örebro Hockey : från folktom arena till publikfest

Inledning: Svensk ishockey har under de senaste decennierna utvecklats till att bli en upplevelse­­­industri, vilket gör upplevelsen i arenan allt viktigare. En ishockeymatch säljs numer som en helhetsupplevelse, vilket ställer krav på klubbens utformning av arena­upplevelsen.Syfte: Studiens syfte är främst att undersöka hur Örebro Hockey arbetar med arena­upplevelsen för publiken i Behrn Arena under ishockeymatcher samt vad klubben i framtiden kan göra för att förbättra arenaupplevelsen. Studien ska även undersöka skillnaderna mellan att se en match i Behrn Arena och på tv.Frågeställningar:Vad gör Örebro Hockey för arenaupplevelsen i Behrn Arena?Vad kan Örebro Hockey göra för att i framtiden förbättra arenaupplevelsen för publiken?Hur har den historiska utvecklingen av arenaupplevelsen i Behrn Arena sett ut för Örebro Hockey?Vad finns det för skillnader mellan Örebro Hockeys matcharrangemang i Behrn Arena och tv-sändningar av C More?Metod: Studien använder en kvalitativ metod med fallstudiedesign. Det genomförs fyra semistrukturerade intervjuer, varav två görs på Örebro Hockeys kansli, en på restaurang Grodan i Stockholm och en på telefon.
